The speedo is a small very versatile glider. This category is for that, it is good at aerobatics (although there is no rudder) and also good in poor lift and on small hills, probably the main reason i like it so much as it flys on our small warwickshire hills.

Sunset

I grabbed a spare hour and headed to the local slope watch the sunset. Scratching for lift was required as the wind was light, and 45 degrees off the main slope, the thermals had all but gone. The scenery and the lighting made the evening.

Beautiful Day

Was this the last gasp of summer, certainly seems like it, the weather has turned foul, then suddenly the odd day turns up of sun.
There was no wind, but you cant have everything, enough thermals to keep entertained, fantastic scenery and lighting on this beautiful day.

Speedo VPTR

Had a great day on edge hill again. Wind had a lot of north, was quite bumpy but some great thermals were bumping of the hill as the day progressed. I tried a some close in than normal aerobatics with the speedo today, recorded on the Go Pro.  Heres the result.

Speedo Gets Inverted

It was good to get out on the slope today, a nice 10mph sunny and thermally on the pimple, its been a while. First flight out, OMG wheres the throttle, but soon got back into it was shortly practising my inverted loops with the speedo. Later on had a fly of a friends Skorp with 1/2 load of ballast. Was good, Oh yeah.
