Spirit Aerobatics

Had some fun on the pimple. Some nice thermals were bumping off the hill, enough to get the 2M Spirit doing some aeros, it has hard work but eventually she managed it (tried a cuban, nearly ended in disaster)..

Voltij on Rhossili Down

The volitj was flown a little later in the day when the wind was a nice 20-25mph. Practising some precision aeros (bearing in mind this is only its second flight), it is equally as aerobatic as the acrostar, but lacks the hooning and straight line speed of the acrostar. A superb flyer and a worthy complement to the Acrostar.

Acrostar on Rhossili Down

Had a few days break down in the Gower and took my Acrostar and Voltij to Rhossili Down. I was dead lucky that one of the days wind was a stonking 30mph westerley and straight on the slope, it was slope heaven. I got to compare the two aerobats in epic slope lift.

The acrostar was sensational, here it is in 30mph. I love this plane and is the only one id replace in a heartbeat if i bust it( if i could find one).
